If we make Zubaz jerky, will it be popular?

on May 20, 2009

maybe, but I have my doubts on the economic viability of obtaining large quantities of Zubaz

on May 20, 2009

You don't want large quantities of Zubaz...trust me on that one.

on May 20, 2009

A large supply only drives the price down. It's when it's rare that it becomes a delicacy worth charging thousands for!

on May 20, 2009

then how can we drive the Zubaz Jerky brand across the universe and get into everyone's homes if we don't have enough Zubaz. I thoughty we were going for mass market appeal.

Well, obviously we'd have to make more Zubaz. We'd just have to be really careful to not over-saturate the market.

I thoughty we were going for mass market appeal.

Indeed we are. But we don't need tons of it to have it be popular. It can be popular *and* expensive. Easier for us, and more cash too! It's like lobster, only 100 times rarer and a bit less buttery.

I'm only large in some ways.  (If you know what I mean)

But if you cut it off, does it grow back bigger?

note I broke the page to respond to Annatar and Zubaz at the same time (block quotes are dangerous beasties)

ok well then we need to catch us some Zubaz, but how? with a butterfly net or an elborate trap? and where will keep the Zubaz, free-range? or in a cage?

on May 20, 2009

I think free-range is best. After all, we want him to develop more meat for the jerky, not fat from lounging around in a cage. For extra effect, we can set some angry dogs loose in the range so he gets some much needed exercise.

As for the trap? That's easy. Instead of using bait, we just use a repellant. We know he won't go anywhere near a dictionary or spell checker, so we just line them up to make sure our fenced range is the only escape he has.
